Butterscotch Self Saucing Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 cup BFFM SR flour
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3oz butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tbs golden syrup
  • 1 1/2 cups hot water

Method

  1. Sift together flour, sugar and salt.
  2. Melt 2oz butter with 1/2 cup milk and add to sifted ingredients. Stir well.
  3. Place mix in oven dish.
  4. Combine golden syrup, 1oz butter and hot water. Pour over mix.
  5. Bake in moderate oven 30 – 40 mins.
